Out of curiosity, what is the roo on the left in the top picture? He bears some resemblance to one of ours roos, who was born here. His mother was someone in the range of RIRs, Barred Rocks, and Delawares. A mixture thereof. And his father came out of the Barred Rock bin at the feed store. ;) He turned out to be no barred rock.. but neither is he really anything identifiable. He's just weird-looking, that's all.
Anyway, this offspring of his... turned out to look even weirder than his father. We titled him Maximus. I suppose I was on a bit of a gladiator stint at the time. Anyway... I've never really been quite sure what to call him, aside from "mutt". It might shed some light on his genetic heritage if I can find out what that handsome fellow of yours is.
Unless he, too, is a mutt. In which case... let's celebrate handsome mutts?
